Strengthening Primary Healthcare Delivery in Urban Settings
Urban primary healthcare in Pakistan is strained, underfunded, fragmented, and often inaccessible to those who need it most. This initiative works at the intersection of system design and community insight, building health models that are not only data-informed but built to respond to the lived realities of urban populations. Through a multi-phase approach that spans baseline data collection, community engagement, and rigorous policy translation, the project aims to redefine how urban primary healthcare is understood, delivered, and scaled. With a focus on Rawalpindi and Karachi, it sets out to identify systemic gaps, generate actionable insights, and prototype solutions that can inform national healthcare planning. Ultimately, this initiative is not just about improving services today; it’s about laying the groundwork for a more equitable, efficient, and resilient health system for Pakistan’s future.
