Explore. Discover. Impact

Established in 2017 in collaboration with Akhter Hameed Khan Foundation (AHK-F), the Urban Impact Lab (UIL) is our hub for grassroots interventions. Based in Dhok Hassu, covering 4 Union Councils of Rawalpindi, UIL draws inspiration from MIT’s urban lab model.

Our mission is clear: uncover insights into grassroots intervention effectiveness before magnifying impact. Through diverse methodologies, we journey into discovery, generating vital knowledge for research and evidence-based decisions.

  • Delve into economic and health intricacies at individual, household, and community levels.
  • Observe social dynamics through experiments, informing policies and programs.

Establish a robust disease surveillance system, focusing on communicable and non-communicable diseases, involving pilot testing, personnel training, and community trials.
